Free, one-time purchase or subscription?
A free app may include all of its features or offer an optional upgrade. A one-time purchase unlocks the features described at checkout without a recurring charge. A subscription renews on a schedule unless canceled under its terms.
Before choosing, check the feature limits as well as the payment label. An app can have no subscription and still charge for more alarms, additional challenges or history. A free trial is also different from an ongoing free tier.
Before paying, check the price and whether it renews. An old screenshot or a price from another country may not match what you'll pay.
What BlockWake includes free
BlockWake’s free version is ad-free and includes one alarm sequence with up to five alarms, plus five standalone alarms. One tap, Math and Hold are available as Stop methods.
You can try a small morning routine for free. Test the sound, lock-screen display and Stop controls before deciding whether you need Pro.
On Free, Insights shows clearly labeled sample data and the Circadian rhythm calculator shows example times. Pro lets you use your own history and change the calculator's inputs.
What the one-time Pro upgrade adds
BlockWake Pro is a lifetime-access, one-time purchase through Google Play, with no recurring subscription. It supports more sequences and standalone alarms, up to 30 alarms per sequence, and the Maze and Tic-tac-toe challenges.
Pro also unlocks personal wake-up Insights and editable calculator inputs. Insights need enough real alarm history to show meaningful statistics. The calculator uses estimated sleep blocks; it does not measure your sleep stages or determine your individual circadian rhythm.
Check the in-app purchase screen for the current local price and terms. Prices can vary by country, so use the amount shown in your app.
Do you need Pro?
If one small sequence does the job, you can stay on Free. Pro is there when you want more routines, more than five alarms in a sequence or one of the extra challenges.
Before paying for any alarm app, check device compatibility, the exact free limits, which features are included in the purchase and how purchases are restored. “Lifetime” describes the offered access model; it should not be read as a guarantee of compatibility with every future phone.
